For products manufactured before March 2011, the additional ring gear included in the spare parts kit must be fitted to the reduction unit. This ensures that the ring gear is correctly connected to the worm gear.

The correct procedure is as follows:

- Remove the retaining ring (PMCSE25.4630) from the reduction unit and pull off the flanged gear;
- Secure the flange to the supplied gear using the screws included in the kit; - Fit the new gear onto the reduction unit.

For products manufactured before March 2011, the use of the additional ring gear, fitted to the gearbox assembly, is mandatory. This ensures a correct fit between the worm gear and the ring gear. The correct procedure is as follows:

- Remove the Seeger ring (PMCSE25.4630) from the gearbox kit and take out the ring gear with the flange;
- Secure the flange to the ring gear included in the kit using the screws;
- Fit the new ring gear onto the gearbox kit.
