In order to control the door and in order to prevent unexpected consequences we recommend to remain in the garage while coding. 1. Take your already operative hand transmitter and press one button. 2. Now take the new hand transmitter and act as follows: - for hand transmitters with blue buttons: side by side - for hand transmitters with green or grey buttons: opposed to each other 3. Press the same button on your new hand transmitter and keep it pressed. For 4 seconds the LED flashes with low frequency, then with higher frequency thus showing successful coding. Release all buttons . 4. Repeat this process with every button on your hand transmitter. 5. Test your new hand transmitter. Coding a hand transmitter with green buttons with the help of an old and faulty Hörmann DH hand transmitter. 1. Open the battery case of your old Hörmann DH hand transmitter. Pay attention to the 10 mini switches' positions: ON or OFF. 2. Open the battery case of the new hand transmitter with the green buttons. With a pointed item press the small button on the left side above the battery (see 2 red circles in 'other images'). The control lamp of the hand transmitter lights up. (Coding should follow a few seconds after pressing the small button. Start again if control lamp stops flashing before end of coding.) Code your hand transmitter by pressing 10 times: - the upper button of your hand transmitter which corresponds to the mini switches' ON position - the lower button which corresponds to the OFF position. After 10 times pressing the control lamp will flash in short intervals for a short moment. Test your new hand transmitter. Coding with the help of a radio receiver. ATTENTION: this action deletes all hand transmitters which have been stored in the receiver before. Find the radio receiver of your drive (a small grey box, approx. 1/3 the size of a cigarette packet). Press the button on your radio receiver. The LED of the receiver lights up and slowly blinks. Get in a 3m distance from the receiver. Take your new hand transmitter and press one of the buttons. The LED of the receiver flashes with higher frequency while you keep the button pressed.
