When using it on pivot-hung windows we prescribe for separate safety retainer arms to be installed. They are representing an additional safety device to secure a constant connection of the casement to the frame. The directives on power-operated windows, doors and gates BGR 232 (ZH 1/494 up to now) made by the German Federation of Institutions for Statutory accident Insurance and Prevention must be obeyed.
